Dynamics of a ring of diffusively coupled Lorenz oscillators (Q1976735)

The authors study the dynamics of a finite chain of diffusively coupled Lorenz oscillators with periodic boundary conditions. The goal of this paper is to show rigorously that, stable, coherent states can occur in arbitrarily large systems of coupled chaotic oscillators at a coupling strength that is independent of the size of the system. As a paradigm for their investigations the authors take the dynamical systems mentioned above.
