Wave propagation in multilayered anisotropic media (Q1977339)

The authors apply the stiffness matrix method to the problem of wave propagation in a semi-infinite multilayered anisotropic medium. By means of Fourier transform technique, the wave field can be obtained in any given layer. The solution procedure can be applied to anisotropic media with arbitrary symmetry. The solution derived can be useful for the investigation of wave scattering from an interfacial crack in a semi-infinite multilayered anisotropic medium.
