    Let \(I=(a,b)\subset R\), \(C_{\omega}(I)=\{f\in C(I)\mid \lim_{x\to a} f(x)\omega(x)=\lim_{x\to b}f(x)\omega (x)=0\}\),\break \(C_\omega((-1,1))=C_\omega\). \(\|f\|_I\) means the Sup norm of \(f\) on \(I\). Results on weighted Hermite-, and Hermite-Fejér interpolation with respect to Jacobi weights are obtained. A rather wide extension of the notion of normality on weighted cases is established. Theorem 1: Let \(I=(-1,1)\), \(\omega(x)=(1-x)^\alpha(1+x)^\beta\), \(\alpha,\beta\geq 0\). If \(X\subset (-1,1)\) is a \(\rho(\omega)\)-normal point system with some \(0<\rho \leq 1\), and if \(f\in C_\omega\) is a differentiable function on \((-1, 1)\) with \(\lim_{|x|\to I}(f\omega)'(x)=0\), then for the weighted Hermite interpolatory polynomial \(H_n(f,f')\) we have \[ \lim_{n\to \infty} \|(f-H_n(f,f'))\omega\|=0. \] Theorem 2: Let \(I=(-1,1)\), \(\omega(x)=(1-x)^\alpha(1+x)^\beta\), \(\alpha,\beta\geq 0\). If \(X\) is a \(\rho(\omega)\)-normal point system then for the weighted Hermite-Fejér interpolatory polynomial \(H_{\omega,n}(f,x)\) of \(f\) of degree \(n\) we have \[ \|(f-H_{\omega,M}(f))\omega\|\to 0 \qquad \text{if} M\to \infty \] .
