The authors prove the existence of infinitely many limit-periodic solutions to Duffing-like systems of the type \(-\ddot q = g(t, q)\), where \(g\) is limit periodic in time and the equation has a nondegenerate homoclinic solution to the hyperbolic stationary solution \(q \equiv 0\). The results are based on using the shadowing lemma stated and proved by \textit{S. Angenent} [Dynamics of infinite dimensional systems, Proc. NATO Adv. Study Inst., Lisbon/Port. 1986, NATO ASI Ser., Ser. F 37, 7-22 (1987; Zbl 0653.35030)]. This lemma (for the reader's convenience it is given here together with the proof) yields the existence of uncountably many bounded solutions. Further considerations concern almost-periodic and quasi-periodic perturbations of the above class of systems. In this case, the existence of solutions to corresponding types is proved.
