The author generalizes the notion of meager for subsets of \({\mathbb R}\) and points out the connection with infinitary combinatorial properties. Especially the connection with suitable trees of countable structures are described. Using the method of forcing he proves the consistency of covering numbers for two covers (being in a sense coherent). The work is designated only to specialists in the branch.
