This paper studies a statistical SEIR epidemic model for the spreading of new COVID-19 corona viruses. Through global analysis and numerical validation with real data sets, it further explores the idea protocols and control strategies that can reduce the outbreak of the disease. The proposed SEIR model is described by a first-order ordinary nonlinear differential equation system, where both natural death and death due to COVID are factored in. Mathematical analyses are performed for determining positivity solution, epidemic equilibrium, uniqueness of equilibrium condition, stability of disease-free equilibrium, and global stability. On top of that, the paper uses real data of spreading COVID in Saudi Arabia from April 2020 to explore the ways to breakdown spreading the COVID in Saudi Arabia.
