    Let \(c=\left(c_{1}, c_{2}\right) \in \mathbb{C}^{2}\), and let \(m_{1},m_{2}, n_{1}\) and \(n_{2}\) be positive integers such that either \(m_{1} m_{2}>n_{1} n_{2}\), or \(m_{j}>n_{j} /\left(n_{j}-1\right)\) for \(n_{j} \geq 2\) with \( j=1,2\). It is shown that the system \[ \begin{cases} \left(\frac{\partial f_{1}\left(z_{1}, z_{2}\right)}{\partial z_{1}}+\frac{\partial f_{1}\left(z_{1}, z_{2}\right)}{\partial z_{2}}\right)^{n_{1}}+P_{1}(z) f_{2}\left(z_{1}+c_{1}, z_{2}+c_{2}\right)^{m_{1}}=Q_{1}(z), \\ \left(\frac{\partial f_{2}\left(z_{1}, z_{2}\right)}{\partial z_{1}}+\frac{\partial f_{2}\left(z_{1}, z_{2}\right)}{\partial z_{2}}\right)^{n_{2}}+P_{2}(z) f_{1}\left(z_{1}+c_{1}, z_{2}+c_{2}\right)^{m_{2}}=Q_{2}(z), \end{cases} \] does not have a pair of transcendental entire solutions of finite order. The sharpness of the conditions on \(n_j\) and \(m_j\) is considered by examples. The paper is concluded by a detailed description of how to obtain a class of entire solutions for two different systems of functional equations of a certain form in \(\mathbb{C}^{2}\).
