Sharp Gagliardo-Nirenberg trace inequalities via mass transportation method and their affine versions (Q1985345)

Using the mass transportation method, the author gives an alternative proof to the sharp Gagliardo-Nirenberg trace inequalities on \({\mathbb R}^n_+\), and determines all associated optimal functions. Moreover, he establishes an affine version of the above inequalities (which is stronger than the initial ones), and finds all corresponding extremal functions.
