This paper introduces a coarse version of a free product which generalizes the corresponding notion of a free product for groups. This notion is distinct from the metric free product of metric spaces that are not necessarily uniformly discrete. The authors show that the coarse free product preserves the properties finite asymptotic dimension, coarse property A and coarse property C.
