The authors of this research paper pay a special attention to the following problem \[ \begin{cases} -(\Phi(u'(t))'=r(t)f(u(t)),\quad t\in(a,b),\\ u(a)=u(b)=0, \end{cases}\tag{P} \] where $f\in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})$, $r\in C((a,b),[0,\infty))$, and $\Phi(y)=\frac{y}{\sqrt{1-\vert y\vert^2}}$, $y\in(-1,1)$. The authors prove that under some growth conditions on the function $f$, every solution of problem (P) is not $\frac{\pi}{4}$-tangential. Moreover, in the special case $r(t)=(t-a)^{-q}$, where $q\geq1$ and under suitable conditions, they prove that every nontrivial nonnegative solution of problem (P) is $\frac{\pi}{4}$-tangential. Also, in the special case when $f(t)=\vert t\vert^{l-1}t$, the authors estimate the Lyapunov-type inequality. Finally, the authors extend all the above results to a cyclic system. This paper is very interesting and extends works in literature such as [\textit{R. Yang} et al., Appl. Math. Lett. 91, 188--193 (2019; Zbl 1472.34043)].
