In this paper, a type of differential delay equations with \(2k-1\) lags in the form \[x'(t) = \sum^{2k-1}_{i=1}(-1)^if(x(t-i))\] is considered, with \(f\in C^0(\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R}), f(-x)=-f(x), \lim_{x\to 0}\frac{f(x)}{x} =\alpha, \lim_{x\to +\infty}\frac{f(x)}{x} =\beta\). Under further assumptions, sufficient conditions are found for the equation to have multiple \(4k\)-periodic solutions with the minimum number \(n\) of such periodic solutions. This is an interesting paper in the area of multiple periodic solutions which is still actively pursued by some researchers.
