High initial energy finite time blowup with upper bound of blowup time of solution to semilinear parabolic equations (Q1988432)

This paper deals with the qualitative and asymptotic analysis of solutions for the initial boundary value problem of the semilinear parabolic equation. The main result establishes a sufficient condition on initial profile ensuring high initial energy finite time blow-up. The authors also find the upper bound of the corresponding blow-up time. The proofs combines energy methods with tools from the classical theory of evolutions problems.
