The author studies a network of finite numbers of long pipelines connected by a single junction. Each pipeline is described by a 1D isentropic Euler system on \(x>0\) and a constant cross-section area. The existence of weak solutions for different coupling conditions is proved. A number of examples is given. The proofs are based on studying the BGK model and passing to the macroscopic equations.
