Morse-Bott inequalities for manifolds with boundary (Q1989645)

Let \(M\) be a smooth compact manifold with boundary, and consider \(f\in C^\infty(M)\). The author proves Morse-Bott inequalities for \(f\) provided the set of critical points of \(f\) consists of a finite disjoint union of nondegenerate critical submanifolds, and \(f|_{\partial M}\) is a Morse function.
