This work addresses the dynamics and bifurcations of a system of three ordinary differential equations obtained as a mean-field model for the SIS epidemic spread on a network, which topology changes during the epidemics. The latter is taken into account by considering pairs of nodes that results in the third-order non-linear polynomial terms in the ODEs. Respectively, the system exhibits more rich dynamics in comparison with epidemic models on static structures. In particular, oscillation solutions (limit cycles) are possible in this case that may resemble recurrent epidemics outbreaks.
