Hybrid mathematical model of leukemic diseases (Q1995883)

This work analyses a system of equations motivated by the model of the proliferation of healthy and cancer (leukemic stem) cells. For the former, the age distribution is taken into account that resulted in a partial differential equation, and for the latter, an ordinary differential equation is used. The authors demonstrate the existence of the steady states, explore their local stability, and illustrate the analytical results with numerical simulations.
