Let \(M^n,g)\) be an \(n\)-dimensional compact Riemannian manifold endowed with negative sectional curvature, \(\Delta_g\) the associated Laplace-Beltrami operator such that \((e_j)_{j\in\mathbb N}\) a Hilbert basis of eigenfunctions of \(\Delta_g\) of eigenvalues \((\lambda_j)_{j\in\mathbb N}\). Principally, the author provides two results. Apropos of the first one (Theorem 1.3), by assuming that \(\Sigma\) is a closed \(d\)-dimensional submanifold such that \(d\le n-2\), he states \[\int_{\Sigma}e_jd\sigma=O\left(\frac{\lambda_j^{(n-d-1)/2}}{\sqrt{\log\lambda_j}}\right).\] Concerning the second one (Theorem 1.4), by assuming that \(\Sigma\) is a closed hypersurface and imposing hypothesis on the rank of \(\langle \Pi_{\Sigma}-\Pi_{H(v)},v\rangle\) on \(T\Sigma\), where \(\Pi_\Sigma\) (resp. \(\Pi_{H(v)}\)) is the fundamental form of \(\Sigma\) (resp. of a suitable horosphere, i.e. a level set of a Busmann function), he states \[\int_{\Sigma}e_jd\sigma=O\left(\frac{1}{\sqrt{\log\lambda_j}}\right).\] The author gives concrete applications of its results.
