This paper defines two ordinary metrics, the upper lambda-metric and the lower lambda-metric from a fuzzy metric. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the coincidence between these two ordinary metrics are given. Relations between topologies induced by a metric and its fuzzifications are studied. If a metric induces a fuzzy metric, then the topologies induced by this metric and the related upper/lower lambda-metric are the same.
