The \emph{universal Teichmüller space} \(T\) is the space of all quasisymmetric self-maps of the circle \(S^1\) up to the action of Möbius transformations. The goal of this paper is to study the subspace \(T_0^\alpha\) of \(T\) consisting of those circle diffeomorphisms whose derivatives are \((1+\alpha)\)-Hölder continuous. This is a subspace of the well-studied, so-called \emph{little subspace} \(T_0\) (formed by all symmetric self-maps of the circle). The central results of this article (Theorems~1.3 and 1.4) show that there is a complex structure on \(T_0^\alpha\) compatible with the topology induced by \(\mathrm{Diff}_+^{1+\alpha}(S^1)\). A crucial ingredient is a characterisation of elements of \(\mathrm{Diff}_+^{1+\alpha}(S^1)\) in terms of the decay of the Beltrami differentials of their quasiconformal extensions to the unit disk.
