The reviewed paper is devoted to the study of the Feigelstock's conjecture on the equivalence of the notions of nil and associative nil groups in the context of additive groups of rings of finite rank. Recall that in the class of torsion-free abelian groups of finite rank, Feigelstock's conjecture states the equivalence of the notions of nil and associative nil groups. The author of the present paper reduces this conjecture to the basic case of indecomposable groups. Concerning the obtained results, they are selected into a few theorems like Theorems 3.2, 3.4, 3.6 and 3.7. For instance, Theorem 3.2 asserts that each indecomposable torsion-free abelian group of rank two is a CR-group, that is, every ring on it is commutative. In particular, any such a group is an AR-group, i.e., it supports only associative rings. The article is very well-written and will definitely be of interest for the experts working in this direction.
