Invariants of the trace map and uniform spectral properties for discrete Sturmian Dirac operators (Q2002605)

This paper deals with a class of 1-dimensional discrete Dirac operators with Sturmian potentials. This class of operators can be considered as a relativistic version of the Sturmian Schrödinger operators on \(l^2(Z)\). Spectral properties for the Sturmian Schrödinger operators have been established through invariants for the trace map associated with the operators. In this paper, authors use similar argument to extend the spectral properties for the Sturmian Schrödinger operators to discrete Sturmian Dirac operators.
