The authors study a generalized \((3+1)\)-dimensional modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili system for electromagnetic waves in a ferromagnetic material. In particular, the authors derive variable coefficient dependent Auto-Bäcklund transformations for this system; from this, soliton examples are obtained. The authors also derive associated bilinear forms with the Hirota method and obtain two branches of \(N\)-solitonic solutions for the system.
