The paper under review is concerned with the Steklov eigenvalue problem for the Laplace operator \[\begin{cases} \Delta u=0,\,\,\,\text{in}\,\,\,\Omega,\\ \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu}=\sigma u,\,\,\,\text{on}\,\,\,\partial \Omega, \end{cases}\tag{1}\] where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n\), with \(n\ge 2\), is an open, bounded and convex set with Lipschitz boundary, and \(\partial u/\partial\nu\) is the outer normal derivative of \(u\) on \(\partial \Omega\). By using a quantitative version of a weighted isoperimetric inequality, the authors prove a quantitative version of the Weinstock inequality for the first nontrivial Steklov eigenvalue \(\sigma_1(\Omega)\) of problem (1).
