    The author considers regularity, asymptotic behavior, and nonexistence of solutions for a class of problems having the form \[-\mathcal{L}_u-\mu\frac{\psi^2}{d^2}u=f(z,u),\] where \[\mathcal{L}_u:=\Delta_x+|x|^{2\alpha}\Delta y,\] for \(\alpha>0\). Moreover, \(d\) is defined by \[d(z):=\big(|x|^{2(\alpha+1)}+(\alpha+1)^2|y|^2\big)^{\frac{1}{2(\alpha+1)}}\] and \[\psi:=\big|\nabla_{\alpha}d\big|.\] The paper seems to be well written, and it would be accessible to those interested in the theory of elliptic PDEs.
