Anosov representations and dominated splittings (Q2009215)

The paper deals with different characterizations of dominated representations; for some groups in terms of singular values, see also [\textit{J. Bochi} and \textit{N. Gourmelon}, Math. Z. 263, No. 1, 221--231 (2009; Zbl 1181.37032)]; in terms of word-hyperbolicity, see also [\textit{M. Kapovich} et al., Geom. Topol. 22, No. 7, 3827--3923 (2018; Zbl 1454.53048)]; and via multicones and cone types, see also [\textit{A. Avila} et al., Comment. Math. Helv. 85, No. 4, 813--884 (2010; Zbl 1201.37032)]. It is shown that the dominated representation is the same as the Anosov representation. All results are presented with new proofs different from the originals ones. The authors also discuss related results such as the analyticity of the limit maps for Anosov representations and the higher rank Morse Lemma.
