The authors study canonical forms for \(H\)-symplectic matrices both in the real and the complex case. The main results are given in Theorem 2.6 (for the complex case) and Theorem 2.11 (for the real case). The concepts used in the proofs make use of basic linear algebra and are quite straightforward to follow. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1411.47002].
