Summary: The concept of \(\lambda\)-statistical convergence for sequences of real numbers was introduced by \textit{Mursaleen} [Math. Slovaca 50, No. 1, 111--115 (2000; Zbl 0953.40002)]. In this paper, we prove a decomposition theorem for \(\lambda\)-statistical convergence. We also define and study \(\lambda\)-statistical convergence, \(\lambda\)-statistically Cauchy sequences, and strong \(\lambda_p\)-summability in a paranormed space.
