Graphene is considered as a material of the XXIth century. Many group researches focus on a detailed study of its properties. In the considered letter, interesting effects of the in-plane extension (or intralayer stretch) on the bending response of multilayer graphene nanoribbons are presented. The in-plane extension seems to be important for a correct understanding of the response of multilayer graphene nanoribbons. The considerations presented in the paper (theoretical predictions) are in excellent agreement with the MD simulations presented in other so far published papers. This letter consists of three main parts. After the introduction, we have in Section 2 the exact bending analysis of cantilever multilayer graphene with the mathematical model related to this field. Section 3 shows numerical results, and as a final conclusion it is underlined that the carried observations and numerical results play a significant role in the bending response, and should always be taken into account for the continuum beam model.
