Summary: We show that the Smale spaces from self-similar groups are topologically mixing and their stable algebra and stable Ruelle algebra are strongly Morita equivalent to the groupoid algebras of \textit{C. Anantharaman-Delaroche} [Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 125, No.~2, 199--225 (1997; Zbl 0896.46044)] and \textit{V. Deaconu} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 347, No.~5, 1779--1786 (1995; Zbl 0826.46058)]. We further show that \(C^\ast(R_\infty)\) associated to a postcritically finite hyperbolic rational function is an \(AT\)-algebra of real-rank zero with a unique trace state.
