A remark on the axiom of spheres with lightlike submanifolds and application of Jacobi equation (Q2016332)

The axiom of \(r\)-planes respectively, resp. \(r\)-spheres, for light-like submanifolds are reconsidered and extended to another axiom called of ``axiom \(r\)-submanifolds''. The main result of this paper states that given a special light-like submanifold of a semi-Riemannian manifold \(\bar{M}\) which satisfies the axiom of \(r\)-submanifolds then \(\bar{M}\) is a space form. The totally umbilicity of light-like submanifolds is studied also with the Jacobi equation.
