The author studies cyclic vectors in Dirichlet-type spaces of the unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^2\). More precisely, for the ball \(\mathbb{B}=\big\{ (z_1,z_2)\in\mathbb{C}^2: \left| z_1\right|^2+\left| z_2\right|^2<1\big\}\) an analytic function \(f:\mathbb{B}\to \mathbb{C}\) having the power series expansion \[ f(z_1,z_2)=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} \sum_{l=0}^{\infty} a_{kl} z_1^k z_2^l \] belongs to the Dirichlet-type space \(\mathcal{D}_{\alpha}\) if \[ \left\| f\right\|_{\alpha}^2 =\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\sum_{l=0}^{\infty} (2+k+l)^{\alpha} \frac{k!l!}{(k+l)!}\left| a_{kl}\right|^2<\infty. \] A function \(f\in\mathcal{D}_{\alpha}\) is called cyclic if the closed invariant subspace generated by \(f\), \[ \mathrm{clos\, span}\big\{z_1^k z_2^l f : k,l=0,1,\ldots\}, \] coincides with the space \(\mathcal{D}_{\alpha}\). The author then identifies the classes of functions which are cyclic or non-cyclic and identifies a necessary capacitary condition for cyclicity.
