The author of this paper introduces and studies a generalization of classical's Burkill definitions for the notions of Cesàro-Perron \(C_k\)-derivative and \(C_k\)P integral, involving an arbitrary averaging kernel. Then the relationships between lower and upper derivatives generated by an averaging kernel and approximate derivatives are investigated.
