The \(\phi^4\) model in space of spin (Ising model) refers to a Hamiltonian involving the squared of \(\phi\), and which provides the so-called Schwinger-Dyson equation in a first approximation. This equation is solved by using the lace-expansion to factorize the non-linear term which is so involved. The key of the approach is to use the Griffiths-Simon construction in order to approximate each \(\phi^4\) by a sum of \(N\) Ising-spin variables.
