The random field Ising model in \(d\) dimensions is a well-studied model since it appeared in the physics literature in the 1970s. The author shows that replica symmetry is almost-surely never broken in the random field Ising model in any dimension for any values of the temperature and field strength. He does this by carefully controlling the so-called overlap using probabilistic methods along with the Fortuin-Kasteleyn-Ginibre inequality and the Ghirlanda-Guerra identities.
