A graph discretization of the Laplace-Beltrami operator (Q2018371)

The article shows that the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on a Riemannian manifold are approximated by eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of a weighted graph Laplace operator of a proximity graph on an epsilon-net. The presentation of the material is self-contained. Moreover, the authors compare their results to known results from the literature.
