Let \((V,\Gamma)\) be a directed graph with vertex set \(V\) and edge set \(\Gamma\). Let \(F=(f_{\gamma})_{\gamma\in\Gamma}\) be a family of functions \({\mathbb R}\mapsto {\mathbb R}\) of the form \(f_{\gamma}(x)=\frac{x+b_{\gamma}}{\beta},\) where \(\beta>1\) is an algebraic number and \(b_{\gamma}\in{\mathbb Q}(\beta)\). The triple \((V, \Gamma, F)\) is called algebraic graph-directed iterated function system (algebraic GIFS). The authors show that the set of points with periodic codings with respect to algebraic GIFS allows description in terms of so called Rauzy boxes, see [\textit{G. Rauzy}, Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 110, 147--178 (1982; Zbl 0522.10032)].
