The contour method from the theory of mechanisms in geometry is a way to graphically describe the trajectories of the expected solutions, which generally are complicated curves. The authors describe many curves that have been established using geometry. They then use the method of contours projections from the theory of mechanisms, providing solutions to numerous problems in geometry. That is, taking into account the mechanism obtained by synthesis and starting from the given geometric conditions, the authors write the mathematical relations that link fixed or mobile elements, allowing them to obtain analytical expressions of the coordinates of the current point as functions of a single real parameter. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1458.00031].
