The paper is concerned with a first-order non-autonomous evolution equation in a complex Hilbert space. The right-hand side of the equation consists of a sum of a time-dependent unbounded linear operator that has a bounded strong derivative, and a continuous mapping. Norm solution estimates and stability conditions are derived. The results extend the author's earlier work on linear non-autonomous equations [IMA J. Math. Control Inf. 37, No. 1, 19--26 (2020; Zbl 1436.93115)].
