This paper studies two conjectures about Rademacher sequences. The Rademacher sequence \(\varepsilon_i\) \((i\ge1)\) is a list of independent variables taking values \(1\) and \(-1\) with equal probability \(1/2\). Denote the inner product of two vectors \(a\) and \(\varepsilon\) by \(a\cdot \varepsilon=\sum_{i=1}^na_i\varepsilon_i\). Tomaszewski's conjecture says \(P(|a\cdot\varepsilon|\le\|a\|)\ge1/2\). Let \(A\) be the set of all \(a\in\mathcal{S}^{n-1}\) such that \(P(|a\cdot\varepsilon|=1)=0\). It is proved that Tomaszewski's conjecture holds if and only if each connected component of \(A\) contains at least one point satisfying \(P(|a\cdot\varepsilon|\le1)\ge1/2\). Moreover, the authors prove the following result related to Hitczenko-Kwapien's conjecture. For \(n\ge7\) and \(a\in\mathbb{R}^n\), it holds that \(P(|a\cdot\varepsilon|\ge\|a\|)\ge7/32\).
