Semigroup associated with a free polynomial (Q2029236)

In this paper, the authors consider irreducible polynomials in a cone \(C\), which is line free, i.e. for all nonzero \(v\in C\), then \(-v\not\in C\). Then, they associate their semigroups of values to these polynomials and proof that these semigroups can be generated from the sets of orders of aproximate roots of the polynomials. They also prove that an irreducible polynomial \(f\in\mathbb{K}[[x]][y]\) becomes free in \(\mathbb{K}_C[[x]][y]\) under some \(C\).
