Let for real numbers \(b,c,x\) with \(251 < 252 c < 252\), \(\Pi(a,b,c,x)\) be the set of all primes \(p \leq x\) of the form \([n^{1/c}]\) for which \([ap+b]\) is also prime. Then, for almost all, in the sense of Lebesgue measure, positive irrational numbers \(a\) the \(\lim \sup\) of \(\Pi(a,b,c,x) \log(x)^2 x^{-c}\) is \(\geq 1\) when \(x\) goes to infinity. This improves a result of \textit{H. Li} and \textit{H. Pan} [J. Number Theory 129, No. 10, 2328--2334 (2009; Zbl 1200.11077)] on the same subject.
