The author gives an introduction to monoid cohomology. He defines weakly Schreier split extensions, based on a concept of Redei from 1952. The main result reads as follows: The maps \(\rho\) and \(\zeta\) give an isomorphism between the set \(CExt(H , N , E,[\varphi])\) and the abelian group \(\mathcal{H}(H , N , E, [\varphi])\). Here, \(CExt(H , N , E, [\varphi])\) is the set of isomorphism classes of so-called cosetal extensions such that \(E\) is the associated admissible equivalence relation and \([\varphi]\) the associated class of compatible actions. I don't see a formal definition of \(\mathcal{H}(H , N , E, [\varphi])\).
