The relativistic generalization of a wave function of \(N\) space-time points is called a multi-time wave function. The analog of the Schrödinger equation contains one equation for each time variable. The authors consider the consistency of this system of PDEs by introducing an ultraviolet cutoff into creation/annihilation terms of the multi-time evolution PDEs. These equations are based on the Dirac equation. For each initial data belonging to a certain dense subspace of an appropriate Hilbert space, the authors prove existence and uniqueness of a smooth solution to this system. This proves consistency of the multi-time equations.
