Let \(\Omega\) be a simply connected bounded domain with a rectifiable boundary so that \(\partial \Omega\) is surrounding a rectangle whose height is greater than or equal to \(2\pi.\) Let \(\Lambda = \{ \lambda_n \}_{n=1}^\infty\) be a strictly increasing sequence of natural numbers. It is shown that every function \(f\) belonging to the closed span of the system \(\{ e^{\lambda_n z}\}_{n=1}^\infty \) in \(L^2(\partial \Omega)\) extends analytically in \(\Omega\) and belongs to the Hardy-Smirnov space \(H^2(\Omega)\), in addition, it also extends analytically in a certain halfspace \(H_a =\{ z : \Re z <a \}\) admitting a unique Dirichlet series representation of the form \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty c_n e^{\lambda_n z},\) with uniform convergence on compact subsets of \(H_a.\) The authors also prove that a certain converse result holds.
