A subgroup \(H\) of a group \(G\) is said to be conjugacy stable if every pair of elements from \(H\) conjugate in \(G\) is also conjugate in \(H\) itself. The authors give an effective procedure to find out if a finitely generated subgroup of a free group is conjugacy stable. Then they further generalize this result to quasi-convex subgroups of torsion-free hyperbolic groups and finitely generated subgroups of limit groups.
