This paper deals with local discrepancies in the problem of the distribution of the sequence \(\{k\alpha\}\). The problem of the existence of intervals with an intermediate increase in local discrepancy was proved in [\textit{A. V. Shutov}, Russ. Math. 61, No. 2, 74--82 (2017; Zbl 1418.11113); translation from Izv. Vyssh. Uchebn. Zaved., Mat. 2017, No. 2, 88--97 (2017)] when the irrationality \(\alpha\) has bounded partial quotients in its continued fraction expansion. The purpose of this paper is to prove its analogue in the case of an arbitrary irrationality \(\alpha\). In order to prove the existence of intervals with arbitrary slow growth of local discrepancies, the first step is to construct an irrationality with sufficiently fast increasing sequence. The second step is to obtain estimates of the local discrepancy, requiring more stringent constraints on the sequence. Then it is shown that there exist uncountable sets of sequence. The applications of the ideas such as inhomogeneous continued fractions from [\textit{T. Komatsu}, J. Number Theory 62, No. 1, 192--212 (1997; Zbl 0878.11029)] in the theory of uniform distribution is of considerable interest.
