The moduli space of two-convex embedded spheres (Q2039754)

The authors use mean curvature flow with surgery to prove that the moduli space of \(2\)-convex embedded \(n\)-spheres in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) is path-connected for every \(n\). The proof can be considered as an extrinsic analogue to \textit{F. C. Marques}' proof of the path connectness of the moduli space of pointwise scalar curvature metrics on three manifolds [Ann. Math. (2) 176, No. 2, 815--863 (2012; Zbl 1319.53028)].
