Let \(K\) be a convex body in the hyperbolic plane \(\mathbb{H}_2\) such that its boundary \(\partial K\) is \(C^1\)-smooth. A geodesic line is called a supporting geodesic of \(K\) if it intersects with \(K\) only at \(\partial K\). Let \(\Gamma\) be a supporting geodesic of \(K\) at \(x\in \partial K\), and \(\phi(x)\) be the intersection point between the normal geodesic to \(\Gamma\) at \(x\) and another supporting geodesic of \(K\) which is also orthogonal to this normal geodesic. The width of \(K\) at \(x\) is defined as the distance from \(x\) to \(\phi(x)\). With this definition, \(K\) has constant width if, for each \(x\in \partial K\), the corresponding point \(\phi(x)\) is also on \(\partial K\). The authors prove that \(K\) is a disc if it has constant width and one of the following conditions holds: (1) \(K\) is origin-symmetric; (2) the origin is an interior point of \(K\) and all projections of \(K\) on the geodesics passing through the origin have constant length.
