In their groundbreaking work [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 117, 271--328 (2013; Zbl 1328.14027)] \textit{T. Pantev} et al. (PTVV) introduced the so-called shifted symplectic structures. They constructed such structures on derived moduli stacks of perfect complexes of quasi-coherent sheaves on Calabi-Yau manifolds. This result vastly generalizes Mukai's work on K3 surfaces [\textit{S. Mukai}, Invent. Math. 77, 101--116 (1984; Zbl 0565.14002)]. In this beautiful paper under review, the authors constructed shifted symplectic structures on moduli \(M_{\mathcal{C}}\) of objects in a smooth Calabi-Yau dg-category \(\mathcal{C}\), which can be viewed as a non-commutative analogy of PTVV's result. Moreover, they showed that a relative Calabi-Yau structure on a dg functor \(\mathcal{C}\to \mathcal{D}\) compatible with the absolute Calabi-Yau structure on \(\mathcal{C}\) induces a Lagrangian structure on the corresponding map of moduli \(M_{\mathcal{C}}\to M_{\mathcal{D}}\).
