Let \(\mathcal{g}\) be the classical Lie algebra of type \(A_2\) over an algebraically closed field \(k\) of characteristic \(p > 0\) and \(M\) be a simple \(\mathfrak{g}\)-module. Denote by \(L(r, s)\) a simple \(\mathfrak{g}\)-module with the highest weight \(r\omega_1 + s \omega_2\) with \(\omega_1, \omega_2\) are fundamental weight. For any integer \(n > 0\), \(gl_n(k)\) is, as usual, the symbol for the general linear algebra of \((n \times n)\)-matrices with the elements of the field \(k\). The paper consider the cohomology \(H^n(\mathfrak{g}, M)\) when \(p =2\) and. The first result is Theorem 1 in which the authors have proved that most of the cases \(H^n(\mathfrak{g}, M) = 0\) except for some cases when \(n\) is smaller than 8 and the module of coefficients is the basis \(k\) or \(L(1, 0), L(0,1)\). The remaining result of the paper is Theorem 2. This result is established in the case \(p = 2\), the Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g} = gl_3(k) \cong sl_3(k) \oplus I\), where \(I\) is the subspace generated by the identity \((n \times n)\)-matrix and \(M\) is a \(sl_3(k)\)-module with the \(\mathfrak{g}\)-module structure is defined by \[(x, a)m : = xm + \mu (a) m; x \in sl_3(k), a \in I, m \in M\] for some linear form \(\mu\) on \(I\). Namely, the authors have proved in Theorem 2 that \(H^n(gl_3(k), M) = 0\). In addition, they have also calculated \(H^n(gl_3(k), k)\), \(H^n(gl_3(k), L(1, 0))\) and \(H^n(gl_3(k), L(0, 1))\) for some \(n\) is smaller than 9.
